Delete account
You can delete your VITA account and the associated data whenever you want (LGPD art. 18, VI; GDPR art. 17; CCPA/CPRA).
Deletion is permanent.
After confirmation, study history, flashcards, mock exams, materials and conversations with Vita cannot be recovered.
In the app
Open VITA, go to Settings and tap Delete account. It is the fastest way and does not depend on talking to support.
Your subscription
Deleting the account does not cancel the subscription. Apple does the billing. Before deleting, cancel in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → VITA, so you are not charged again.
What is erased
- Account and profile
- Study history (flashcards, questions, mock exams)
- Conversations with Vita, including on WhatsApp
- Uploaded materials, PDFs, audio and images
- Synced Canvas and Google Calendar data
- Study plans and notes
- Connections to Canvas, Google and WhatsApp (authorization revoked)
- Push notification tokens
- AI gateway key and customer, AI quality traces linked to the account, the copy of your app conversations in the support desk (messages and attachments), the name, e-mail and phone number on your contact card there (the card is left anonymous, as “Conta excluída”, “Account deleted”), and the user in the subscription service
Timing: the database and files are erased at the moment you confirm. Backups expire within 30 days.
What we may keep: what the law requires us to keep, such as tax records of the subscription and security logs for up to 6 months. Apple keeps its own purchase records under the App Store terms.
What we erase on request: the AI quality traces of live voice and those of the gateway that do not carry the account identifier (all before October 9, 2026), the profile photo that may be on your contact card and the mirror of the WhatsApp conversations in the support desk are not reached by the automatic deletion; the other AI quality traces linked to the account go with it. If you cannot sign in to the app, write to privacy@estudevita.com.br from the e-mail registered on the account. We reply within 15 days.
