Copyright
Version of October 9, 2026
BYMAV LTDA respects copyright and expects the same from people who use VITA. Most VITA content is private to each person; decks and materials become accessible to others only when their creator shares a link. If you own rights and believe something on VITA infringes them, use the procedure below, in Portuguese, English or Spanish.
1. How to send a notice
Send a message to copyright@estudevita.com.br with:
- your physical or electronic signature, or that of a person authorized to act for the rights owner;
- identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (or a representative list);
- identification of the material you claim infringes the work, with information reasonably sufficient for us to locate it (for example, the link of the shared deck);
- your contact details: name, address, telephone number and e-mail;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the rights owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the rights owner or are authorized to act on its behalf.
Complete notices are handled faster. We may ask for additional information.
2. What we do next
When we receive a valid notice, we quickly remove or disable access to the material and tell the person responsible, with the reason and a copy of the notice. People whose content was removed can contest it (section 3) and, in the European Union, use the internal complaint system and the out-of-court dispute settlement bodies of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (DSA).
3. Counter-notice
If your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, send to the same e-mail:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed because of mistake or misidentification;
- your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the US federal district court for the district where your address is (or, if you live outside the US, any district where BYMAV may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the notice.
We will forward the counter-notice to the person who sent the notice. If that person does not tell us they have filed a lawsuit, we restore the material in 10 to 14 business days.
4. Repeat infringers
In appropriate circumstances, we close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe copyright.
5. Designated agent and contact
Designated agent (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(2)): name, address and telephone being registered with the US Copyright Office.
E-mail for notices: copyright@estudevita.com.br
Company: BYMAV LTDA, Brazilian company registry (CNPJ) 65.003.381/0001-08. Address: being registered.
6. Brazil, European Union and United Kingdom
- Brazil: Law 9,610/1998 (copyright) and the Marco Civil da Internet (Law 12,965/2014), arts. 19 and 21. We comply with specific court orders for removal and we also review out-of-court notices under this procedure.
- European Union: notice mechanism (DSA art. 16), statement of reasons (art. 17), internal complaint-handling (art. 20) and out-of-court dispute settlement (art. 21). Point of contact: copyright@estudevita.com.br.
- United Kingdom: we accept notices under the same procedure.
- USA: 17 U.S.C. § 512 (DMCA), as in sections 1 to 4.
7. False notices
Anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material infringes copyright, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)) and under Brazilian law. If in doubt, talk to a lawyer before sending.
